Alkan university collage registrar received a letter of suspension, sources close to the issue confirmed to Kaliti Press.

The supervisory body, Ethiopian Food and medicine Controlling Agency told the university college to close its branch in Addis Ababa.

The reason for the closure of collage is for poor quality of education in the field of medical science, students whom asked for anonymity told Kaliti Press.

However, the registrar office refused to confirm the issue while contacted by Kaliti Press over the phone.

Alkan University Collage is a private higher education in Ethiopia established in 2012. It has three campuses in Addis Ababa. Bahirdar and Dessie.
