It is wrong to use the Nekemt Killings as a tool to value the life of a Tigrean as more than that of an Oromo life!
I strongly condemn the recent TPLF/EPRDF security planned and orchestrated killings of Tigreans in Nekemt in order to incite ethnic violence between the Oromo and Tigrean people to sabotage and undermine the peaceful demands of the Oromo people which TPLF/EPRDF refused to address for the last three years except its unabated daily killings of the Oromo.
I also strongly condemn TPLF/EPRDF agents who tried to propagate this killings as violence of the Oromo people against the Tigreans, which was exactly what the TPLF/EPRDF security operatives wanted.
But, I could not able to express in words how disgusting it was to see some hypocrites and low lives who claimed ” the blood of the Tigreans are their blood” while they were silently watching the slaughter of thousands of innocent Oromo lives by the same TPLF/EPRDF security forces over the last three years, including as recently as this week in Ambo where over 13 Oromos were killed and over 20 people wounded by the same forces who killed the Tigreans.
The actions of these low lives forces us to ask whether the blood of the Oromo people that the TPLF/EPRDF spills every single day for the last three years are the blood of their enemy? Or are they telling us the life of a Tigre is somehow better than the life of an Oromo? Shame on them.
The truth is both the blood of the Oromo and the Tigreans were spilled by TPLF/EPRDF security forces. The enemy of both the Tigreans and the Oromo people are the TPLF/EPRDF regime. The solution rests in transforming or removing this criminal regime. All Ethiopians need to join hands and unit to do so!
The killings in Nekemt shouldn’t have been used as a tool to give more value to the life of a Tigrean as opposed to that of the Oromo, while insulting the Oromo people. But, the low life hypocrites and TPLF cadres did, and wanted to send that racist message. That is another stain on our history.
